Which airlines travel to Rhodes?

Most major holiday airlines travel to Rhodes during mid and peak season from the majority of regional airports. Flight times range from 3 and half hours to four hours, depending on your departure airport. In low season, please check your flights before proceeding with a reservation, as during the winter only indirect flights via Athens may be available from London Heathrow. What is there to do in Rhodes?

Do you know of any local car hire firms to use?

We would highly recommend George Cars, a reliable and reasonably priced local firm. Alternatively, many international firms operate a service on Rhodes, click here for more information.

What nightlife is there near to the villa?

The village of Pylonas is a traditional Greek village and has a good selection of bars, including one British bar. Lindos and Lardos are only 5 minutes drive from the villa, offering a vast variety of bars restaurants and nightclubs to suit all tastes.   See nightlife

Is it easy to get Taxis from the villa into Lardos and Lindos?

Yes, taxis operate from Lindos and Lardos and can be contacted by phone. 

What is your preferred changeover day? 

During peak season, our preferred changeover day is Wednesday. In low and mid season we can be more flexible and may be able to accomodate a Saturday arrival. You can send a request through our Contact Us.

Do you have facilities such as cot and high chair?

We are happy to provide a travel cot and high chair, please ensure you request these before departure.

What is in the welcome pack?

We provide a basic food welcome pack with essentials such as water, bread, crisps, biscuits, fizzy drink, beer, eggs, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. We can also arrange for your first shop to be waiting for you at the villa on arrival. The cost of this is paid locally to our management agent. If you wish to use this service please notify us at least two weeks in advance of your holiday. Each guest will receive a complimentary bottle of local sparkling wine on arrival.

I need to cancel what should I do?

Please notify us in writing as soon as possible. If you cancel within seven days of making your booking we will fully refund your deposit. If you cancel outside of ten weeks of departure we will refund any balance paid less your booking deposit. If you cancel within 10 weeks of departure no refund is available.

I want to make a reservation, what do I do now?

If you wish to proceed with a reservation please check our availability calendar to ensure we have the availability. Please then contact usand we will send you a reservation form and payment details. We can accept cheques, bank transfer, PayPal and credit cards. 

How far is the villa from Rhodes airport?

Olive Grove Villa is approx 29 miles from the airport, the transfer time is approx 45 minutes by car. The price of a taxi is 50 euros and they can accommodate 4 people. Most car hire firms operate to and from the airport if requested.

What are your arrival and departure times?

The villa will be available from 4 pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure, however sometimes we can arrange for late departure. We may not be able to confirm this until approximately a week prior to departure. Please ask!

Is your villa suitable for the elderly or disabled?

We are not a wheelchair friendly establishment and no modifications have been made, however there is a small, single step into the side entrance of the villa, leading to a twin bedroom, wet room and kitchen at ground floor level. The lounge is only accessible via a small flight of stairs.

What is the local charge for air conditioning?
